Is this solid silver?
Partly, and we would rather be precise about it. The chain is genuine sterling silver. The little dog charm is silver plated, not solid silver. A lot of charm jewellery is made this way, but very few sellers tell you which part is which.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Sterling silver is generally well tolerated, so the chain itself suits most people. The charm is plated and the base metal is not disclosed, so if you tend to react to costume jewellery, our stainless steel pieces are a safer bet.

Sterling silver naturally darkens with air and moisture. Keep it in its box between wears, put it on after perfume and moisturiser, and buff the chain with a soft silver cloth. Please do not use a silver dip on the charm, as it can strip the plating.
