No, and we would rather say so plainly. Both the little dog charms and the drop hooks are silver plated, so no part of these earrings is solid silver. You will see similar earrings sold as sterling silver plated, which is a contradiction in terms: something is either sterling silver or it is silver plated. These are plated.

Are they suitable for sensitive ears?
AyeDoGifts describe the hooks as nickel free, and we are happy to pass that on as their claim. The charms are plated and the base metal underneath is not disclosed, so if you usually react to costume jewellery, our stainless steel puppy dog studs are a safer choice.
