Questions, answered

Which collar size should I pick for a puppy?
Measure around the neck where the collar will sit and allow two fingers underneath, then choose for the puppy you have now rather than the dog they will become. The kit comes in XS, S, M and L. A collar that fits properly today is safer than one they will grow into.

What colours can I choose?
Baby Pink, Royal Blue and Caramel, chosen at the top of this page. The colour applies to the collar and lead.

How do I look after the leather?
The Timeless collar and lead are vegetable-tanned Italian leather. Their maker asks you to spray a colourless rain-and-stain protector on before first use and periodically afterwards, and to keep the leather out of water. Wipe rather than wash.

My puppy chews everything. Is that a problem?
Only if the lead becomes the toy. Keep the rope ball set for chewing, and hang the lead up out of reach between walks rather than leaving it on the floor.

Is it a good gift for someone else's new puppy?
It is one of the easier gifts to get right, because everything in it gets used in the first fortnight. If you do not know their colour preference, Caramel goes with everything.
