Joint Support is a daily chicken flavour tablet built around the ingredients owners tend to go looking for at that point: glucosamine, chondroitin, green lipped mussel, MSM, curcumin, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and manganese. Give it whole, or crush it into food. Made in the UK to GMP standards using human grade ingredients, 120 tablets to a pot.

How to give it

These tablets are designed to be eaten directly, or as part of a meal, crushed if necessary into your dog's food or a treat.

• Up to 15kg: 1 tablet per day
• 16kg to 30kg: 2 tablets per day
• 31kg to 45kg: 3 tablets per day
• Over 45kg: 4 tablets per day

Allergen advice

This product contains crustaceans, fish and molluscs. Glucosamine sulphate is derived from crustaceans, chondroitin sulphate from fish and molluscs, and green lipped mussel is itself a mollusc. Allergens are shown in bold in the ingredient list above. If your dog has a shellfish or fish sensitivity, this is not the right supplement for them.

How do I give it?

Whole, or crushed into food or a treat. Both are on the label. The tablets are chicken flavoured, which helps, but crushing is the dependable option for a dog who inspects everything before eating it.

How long before I see a difference?

We are not going to promise you a timeframe, because it would not be honest. Joint nutrition works gradually and every dog is different, so the fair approach is to give it consistently and keep a note of what you observe over time. If your dog seems uncomfortable, please see your vet. A supplement is not the right tool for a dog who is in pain.

Is it suitable for puppies or senior dogs?

The label does not set an age limit, and the dose is based on bodyweight rather than age. It is most often bought for older dogs and for larger breeds. It is not suitable for pregnant or lactating animals. If your dog is still growing, or is a senior with an existing health condition, check with your vet before you start.

Can I give it alongside another supplement?
