Measure the footprint of your bowls, including any stand, and check it against the dimensions above. The Small is 46.5 x 32.7cm and the Large is 59.5 x 44.5cm, so go Large if you feed two dogs or use wide, shallow bowls.

Will it actually stop water going everywhere?
The raised lip runs the whole way round and is designed to retain spills, and the anti-skid feet stop the mat sliding when your dog shoves the bowl. A truly committed splasher may still get a drop past it, but the vast majority stays in the mat.

How do I clean it?
Rinse it with water. That is genuinely the whole job. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, so it can be hosed off outside after a messy dinner.
