The bowl holds up to 850ml, which covers most everyday food portions and a proper drink. Pet Wiz do not publish the bowl diameter, so if you have a very large dog it is worth measuring their usual portion against that 850ml figure before you order.

Yes. The ceramic bowl is dishwasher safe, so it can go straight in with the rest of the washing up.

How should I clean the bamboo stand?
We would keep the bamboo out of the dishwasher. Lift the bowl out, wipe the stand with a damp cloth and let it dry properly before it goes back on the floor.

Will it actually stop my dog shoving the bowl around?
It makes a real difference. The bowl sits down into the stand rather than resting loose on the floor, so it resists tipping and takes a lot more determination to move. We would not swear it is dachshund proof, but it is a fair fight.

Can I use it for water as well as food?
